The Author
Sheza Mansoor received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Michigan in 2015 and went on to teach elementary students. She received her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Teaching from Boston University in 2020. Sheza is a Ph.D. student in Educational Psychology and Educational Technology at Michigan State University. Sheza is passionate about children’s literature and loves writing books for young children. She hopes that her books will be an inspiration for children all around the world. She is also the author of My Islamic Book of ABC’s. Sheza is a Pakistani-American that lives in Michigan with her Palestinian-American husband and children.

The Illustrator:
Jenny Reynish is an artist and illustrator working mainly in children’s publishing and has created a wide variety of illustrations for US and UK publishers. Her individual and decorative style was sparked by a Persian rug from Isfahan, inherited from her aunt. She loves the colors and decorative patterns of the Middle East and India, and finds much inspiration from living by the sea. She works in watercolor, oil, and linoprint.
